Open Station/Covered-Roll Treating Station

Enercon is the leading manufacturer of corona treating equipment and systems. Its patented design is offered with a variety of metal electrodes and a dielectric-covered treater roll to combine the advantages of an ozone-safe work area with the latest benefits of advanced technology. The long-term reliability of the Enercon patented design is further enhanced by the unique airflow that cools the electrodes, pulls a constant supply of oxygen into the corona, and removes the ozone directly from the air gap.

Enercon has designed several metal electrode types within our pioneered airflow concept to meet a wide range of application requirements and customer preference. Each provides a special benefit, but all provide the cool, long-term reliability and ozone-safe work area you’ve come to expect from Enercon technology.
 
     
 

Stainless Steel Tubes:

Provide consistent treatment edge-to-edge. Ideal for blown or cast film extrusion where lane treatment is not required.
 

Stainless Steel Segments:

Available in ¼ inch or 1 inch segments for lane treatment on blown or cast film extrusion lines. Allow adjustable lane treatment for bag production.

Covered Rolls: Dielectric Choice

The Enercon Ceramic-covered roll can reliably handle any covered-roll application. Enercon offers other dielectric covering such as epoxy, dilicone or Hypalon to meet the cost, reliability and application requirements of any converting or extruding process. Our knowledgeable sales or application engineers will aid you in selecting the best system for your process.

*Our fully equipped Tech Centre provides a wide-web, high-speed treating lab line capable of duplicating treating conditions on a full range of customer process lines. The Tech Centre Facility is also available for training customer personnel in the operation and maintenance of Corona Treating Systems and correct procedures in performing dyne level tests. Enercon frequently performs treatment level tests on new materials prior to customer production runs.

Caution: Although there is no danger of high voltage shock, as with any moving web, there is a danger of static shock. Further, it is best not to place your hand in close proximity to any rotating machinery.

Ozone-Ex II Ozone Decomposer Eliminates Ozone to Meet Clean Air Limits

Ozone-Ex II converts ozone into molecular oxygen for emission below the OSHA limit of 0.1ppm.
