Piezoelectric Accelerometers

AccelerometersMeasurement of shock and vibrations is a vital field of study in the development, testing and monitoring of engines, machines and systems in all strategic segments of industry, defense and aviation. A low mass, wide-band piezoelectric accelerometer forms the core of any reliable system for vibration measurements and analysis. These high-performance piezoelectric accelerometers are a result of indigenously developed NPL technology. In all stainless steel constructions with a Hex base of 18 mm, total height of 24mm and a mass of 40gms, these transducers are guaranteed for a wide range of measurements from 20 Hz to 8000 Hz for vibration, and shock below 2000g.

Tension Sensors

Tension SensorsDynaspede presents a variety of sensors and tension monitors to cover most of the automation needs of converting or process machines.

SW series of tension sensors are full bridge,
strain-sensitive load cells, with built-in self-aligning bearings that make them suitable for dead shaft or live shaft applications. These are generally used in pairs to support tension-sensing idlers on either ends. Standard ratings cover a range from 10 kg to 150 kg in five sizes, adaptable for base or flange mounting. For narrow web applications, Dynaspede offers the option of using a single load cell to support one end of the sensing roll with the far end supported on anti-friction and self-aligning rolling bearings.

UPB series of load cells are Under Pillow Block (UPB) assemblies, offered for ratings beyond 150 kg. Two ratings of 250 kg and 500 kg cater to most of the popular sizes for UPB series of load cells.

All Dynaspede tension sensors exhibit excellent linearity and repeatability with a nominal output of 1mV/V. Signal conditioning and amplification of load cell output is included in matching digital tension monitors or controllers.

AC Tachogenerators

TachogeneratorFor general-purpose speed sensing and speed feedback applications, Dynaspede offers TEFT or TEFL models of tachogenerators in base-mounted or flange-mounted constructions. These are essentially single phase AC tachogenerators in 24 or 48 pole constructions with quasi-sinusoidal output of 30/ 50 Volts AC (rms) @ 1500 rpm. Three-phase models are also offered for low speed and high speed.

Dynaspede AC Tachogenerator is a thoroughly engineered speed transducer for industrial duty applications. An important design feature is that the stationary and rotating members are vacuum moulded in epoxy and are housed in graded Aluminium casing. The well-proportioned shaft has a diameter of 12 mm. In addition, liberally selected, widely spaced and pre-loaded ball bearings, contribute to structural rigidity and dependable performance.

Speed IndicatorsSpeed Indicators:

Dynaspede Tachogenerator construction makes it ideal for digital processing for the purpose of speed indication or control. Digital speed indicators can be easily implemented by counting the pulses from the Tacho for a finite interval , depending on the display proportionally.

Trimtorq

TrimtorqTrimTorq is a low-cost electronic torque sensor for indirect electronic computation and monitoring of torque delivered by AC motors. This form of torque sensing has many applications where the need for reliability, repeatability and cost often outweigh the need for accuracy in torque measurement. The same models can be used for motors from fractional through integral horsepower range. Its standard features include pre-settable limits (minimum through maximum) with potential-free contacts for controlling auxiliaries or providing interlocks. Trimtorq is ideal for retrofitting on machines driven by fixed speed AC motors to monitor machine loading and to provide protection against overloading.
