Defence lab in Bangalore signs contract with Dynaspede for development testing of Spiral Bevels for engine and gearbox
For the first time in India Dynaspede and Defence lab sign a contract to build, maintain and operate the test rigs at Dynaspedes facilities and after the tests… transfer, install and maintain the test rig at the labs premises.
The test rig rated for 714HP power @ 18450 rpm…will be designed to simulate the test conditions for bevel pair testing as experienced in an aircraft engine for starting and normal operation sequences like inertia simulation and gas thrusts to study the meshing pattern and for endurance studies using Dynaspedes exclusive Di-Vector technology. A PC based intelligent control system will control and analyse the test results.

The test rig was commissioned to test a range of Torpedo motors using Dynaspedes exclusive tandem dynamometer…a combination of Eddy current and pneumatic dynamometers with bump less control of dynamometers to test the motors…both for dynamic and steady state studies. The test rig is in operation at the lab for over 18 months and has met all the challenges for Naval research |
