One of the basic equipment required on a good machine (on which a roll is processed) is the tension control system. These are required to maintain the tension of the web on the unwind side – as it goes from the unwinder to the process section (1st printing station in a printing machine ; coating section in a coating machine and so on…) and on the rewind side – as the web goes from the last process section to the rewinder.
