Description

Dynaspede Load Cells are full-bridge strain gauge-based tension sensors, designed for direct on-line sensing of tension in moving paper, films, foils, wires and cables. They are characterized by extreme linearity, near-zero hysteresis and overload capabilities to withstand rigorous industrial duty applications with electronics to match from Dynaspede range of tension indicators, tension controllers… analog or DSP based.

Load Cells/sensors, basically consists of a special mechanical structure that performs in a predictable and repeatable manner when subjected to an external force in a pre-defined direction. This force resulting from the applied tension on the shaft of the tension sensor is translated into an analogous electrical signal due to change in resistance of the strain gauges, which are accurately positioned on this structure. The change in resistance is a measure of the distortion in the structure and in turn is a measure of load or tension.

SCD-Series

The SCD Series gear shift Loadcell measures gear lever forces required to achieve gear selection. An ergonomically designed gear knob senses the force from a human hand or a mechanical actuator. The two axis force components are represented by two pure Loadcell output signals. The gear shift Loadcell is supplied calibrated and ready to use, no in-situ calibration or mathematical computation is required.
